Deputy Director of Development, Arts and Culture – responsible for advancing major‑gift fundraising for the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, managing donor relationships, and leading a small fundraising team.

Key Responsibilities

- Continue and build on major‑gift fundraising success, focusing on $1million+ gifts.
- Establish, manage, and nurture relationships with existing and prospective donors.
- Serve as a senior fundraiser across the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences.
- Close major gifts and meet significant personal fundraising targets.
- Grow and support a high‑performing fundraising staff team.

Qualifications

- Extensive background in major‑gift fundraising with demonstrated ability to identify and negotiate multiple $1million+ opportunities.
- Experience in higher‑education fundraising (preferred).
- Strong track record of meeting or exceeding financial targets.




- Proven relationship‑building and leadership skills, able to engage internal and external stakeholders.
- Highly developed emotional intelligence, self‑awareness, and exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Autonomous work style, high‑achiever, driven by qualified and personal success.
