Care Services Employee – St Vincent’s Care Services, Yennora
We are looking for a special kind of person – a St Vincent’s kind of person who puts compassion, connection and caring for others at the heart of everything. As a Care Services Employee, you’ll be part of an experienced, engaged and dedicated team helping to create a welcoming, skilled and supportive care experience for the residents of St Vincent’s Care Services, Yennora.
Position Details
Employment type: Part‑time Fixed‑Term (July–Oct) – Mon, Tue, Thurs & Fri (AM shifts) Part‑time Fixed‑Term (July–Oct) – Wed, Thurs & Fri (Night shifts) Casual (flexible availability any day of the week).
Work schedule (adaptable): Morning 06:30‑14:30, Afternoon 14:30‑22:30, Night 22:30‑06:30.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, person‑centred care to residents, supporting daily living activities.
- Support the implementation and monitoring of individual care plans and build meaningful connections with residents.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records using AutumnCare (or similar software).
- Communicate effectively with residents, families and the multidisciplinary care team.
- Adhere to resident rights, responsibilities and relevant aged‑care regulations.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Certificate III in Individual Support/Aged Care or a similar qualification – essential.
- Minimum 6 months of experience in a similar role with residential aged‑care experience preferred.
- Availability to work the listed shifts and fixed‑term periods.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Knowledge of AutumnCare (or similar software) and ability to maintain excellent records.
- Understanding of aged‑care principles, resident rights and the ability to follow care plans.
- Nationally coordinated Criminal History Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check – required.
