The Role
As an Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls (EI&C;) Engineer, you will provide technical input across the project delivery for electrical, instrumentation and control systems packages for a major water project.
Working closely with the Lead Engineer and multidisciplinary teams, you'll ensure high-quality engineering outcomes from concept through to commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and troubleshoot electrical, instrumentation and control systems packages across water treatment plant
- Support the design, installation and commissioning of new equipment and plant upgrades (by 3rd party providers)
- Diagnose faults and provide technical solutions to minimise downtime
- Prepare and update engineering drawings and technical documentation
- Work closely with operations,
maintenance teams and contractors to deliver projects safely and efficiently
- Ensure all work complies with Australian Standards and safety regulations
About You
- Degree qualified Electrical Engineer (essential)
- Experience in Electrical, Instrumentation & Control engineering with Water or Plant SMP Construction projects preferred
- Solid understanding of industrial control systems and control philosophies
- Knowledge of PLC/SCADA systems is essential; hands‑on programming experience is not required
- Full Australian working rights
