The Role You'll primarily be based in Broomeperforming a mix of inpatient and outpatient echocardiography, with opportunities to travel to remote communities supporting outreach cardiology services.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday
8:00am – 4:30pm

1. minute lunch break





Daily Workload

Approximately 10–12 patients per day
Standard appointment times of 45 minutes

Outreach/community clinics typically 30-minute appointments

Outreach trips generally run for 2–3 days and offer a unique chance to experience some of Australia's most spectacular remote landscapes while making a genuine impact on local communities.

Requirements

Accredited Cardiac Sonographer
Current ASAR accreditation
Previous echocardiography experience
Ability to work independently within a multidisciplinary team

A passion for rural and remote healthcare is highly regarded
