About the role:
We are seeking a senior portfolio leader to drive enterprise‑wide portfolio governance, oversight, and optimisation across the Corporate Plan.
As Manager – Portfolio Management, you will lead the discipline that ensures strategy is effectively translated into delivery. You will set and embed governance standards, lead key forums, and drive prioritisation and sequencing decisions to maximise value and delivery efficiency.
Working across Executives, PMOs, Finance, and delivery teams, you will provide clear, decision‑ready insights, maintain alignment to strategic intent, and proactively manage risks, interdependencies, and delivery constraints. You will also support enterprise P3 standards and use performance data to enable informed decisions and sustained delivery momentum across the organisation.

What the role will involve:
- Lead enterprise portfolio management for the Corporate Plan by owning portfolio governance, setting standards, and directing interventions that keep delivery aligned to strategy and value
- Ensure sustained alignment with Corporate Strategy through proactive oversight, interdependency management,
and optimisation of sequencing and resourcing
- Drive portfolio performance to maximise value delivery by embedding governance discipline, enabling informed executive decision‑making, and implementing continuous improvement practices that enhance delivery efficiency, benefits realisation, and organisational capability
- Translate complex portfolio information into transparent decisions, directives, and prioritisation options for Executives and Boards
- Optimise portfolio performance by recommending improvements to sequencing, resourcing, and governance discipline
- Proactively shape and develop high‑quality business cases and associated decision artefacts
- Deliver and maintain high‑quality performance data, that drives a single, enterprise‑wide view of portfolio health and performance
- Drive benefits realisation and value optimisation, intervening to address gaps and improve outcomes
- Build and lead a high‑performing portfolio management team and strengthen enterprise portfolio management capability
Key skills and experience:
- Extensive experience leading and delivering complex transformation portfolios
- Substantial experience leading large‑scale enterprise‑wide transformation change and multi‑disciplinary programs
- Substantial experience in applying right‑sized methodologies (including agile and waterfall) and governance across portfolios, programs and projects
- Substantial experience in transformational strategic planning
- Proven ability to translate complex, ambiguous environments into clear, actionable insights for executive decision‑making
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and interdependencies
- Demonstrated leadership of high‑performing teams within complex organisational environments
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with confidence operating at Executive level and driving outcomes that maximise organisational value and delivery performance
