This temporary, casual role is ideal for individuals looking to gain entry-level experience in the pharmacy sector. The Pharmacy Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of the pharmacy, ensuring that customers receive excellent service and that the pharmacy runs smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Assist customers with their enquiries and provide information about products and services
- Support pharmacists in dispensing medications and managing inventory
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the pharmacy workplace
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Handle stock management, including receiving and shelving deliveries
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Participate in training and development activities as required
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service role is preferred but not essential
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills
