We are looking for a skilled and reliable Pizza Maker to join our team. This role involves preparing dough, toppings, and sauces, assembling pizzas, operating pizza ovens, and maintaining high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and consistency.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare pizza dough, sauces, and toppings according to recipes
- Stretch dough and assemble pizzas accurately and efficiently
- Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure quality
- Maintain consistency in portioning, taste, and presentation
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards
- Keep prep areas, benches, and equipment clean and organised
- Assist with stock rotation, prep lists, and basic inventory checks
- Work closely with front-of-house staff to ensure timely orders
Skills & Requirements
- Previous experience as a pizza maker or kitchen hand preferred (training provided)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good time management and attention to detail
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
