About the position In the Plant Operator position, youwill be required to ensure that staff, members of the public, andother stakeholders remain safe while achieving the efficientdelivery of desired levels of service for park infrastructurewithin the Toowoomba region. Primarily, you will be responsible forthe operation of plant and equipment in a parks environment, aswell as providing hands on supervision of a small team as requiredfrom time to time. You will work under limitedsupervision.

What you'll bring - Possession of a minimum ofCertificate III in Horticulture together withdemonstrated horticultural experience ishighly desirable; or equivalent qualification and / orexperience relevant to allow the incumbent to perform allduties of the position.

- Current ‘MR’ ClassDrivers Licence is essential.
- WHS Competency (WhiteCard) for CPCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in theconstruction industry, or equivalent, or a willingness toobtain prior to commencement.




- Possession of an ACDC(Agricultural Chemicals Distribution Control) Sprayingcertificate is highly desirable.
- Possession of a TrafficManagement Implementation Level II certificate is highlydesirable.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills. The preferred candidate will be required toundertake a Criminal History Check and a pre-employment medicalassessment to assess their ability to perform the genuineoccupational requirements of the position.
