Our client is a Western Australian civil and mining services contractor delivering end-to-end HDPE piping, earthworks, and civil construction solutions to the mining and resources sector.
The Role
We're seeking Polywelders forFIFO work on a2:1 roster (2 weeks on, 1 week off) at WA regional sites. This is casual employment, with immediate start available for the right candidates.
Duties include
- Welding HDPE pipe using butt fusion and electrofusion methods
- Stringing pipe and loading/setting up welding machines on site
- Coordinating a small poly crew and directing earthworks tasks as required
- Reading and interpreting HDPE and civil construction drawings
- Working safely within a mine site or civil construction setting, in line with all site WHS and environmental requirements
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Current Polywelding certificate (butt fusion, electrofusion) from an accredited institution
- White Card (Construction Induction)
- Current Driver's Licence
- Prior demonstrated experience as a polywelder, across both butt fusion and electrofusion welding on mine sites or construction projects (essential)
- Prior demonstrated experience operating McElroy (T618, T500, T900) and Dixon welding equipment (essential)

- Ability to work autonomously and coordinate a small poly crew
- Ability to coordinate a team on general earthworks tasks
- Strong ability to interpret HDPE and civil construction drawings
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening
- Availability to commit to a 2:1 FIFO roster
