Practice Assistant - Tax Provide high-level support to two Partners within our leading Melbourne Tax practice

Play a key role in the smooth running of a high-performing practice, supporting clients, matters and team priorities About the Role We are seeking an experienced Practice Assistant to support Partners Michael Clough and Kai-Chen Lamb in our Melbourne Tax practice on a full-time, permanent basis. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with the Partners and wider practice to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of matters, clients and team priorities.

Key responsibilities include: Managing diaries, inboxes and communications, ensuring priorities are effectively coordinated

Coordinating meetings, commitments and key deadlines across matters

Supporting billing, expenses and WIP management

Maintaining matter administration, including file openings, conflicts checks and document management

Providing proactive operational support to the Partners and wider team

Acting as a central point of coordination to keep the practice running smoothly in a fast-paced environment About You To succeed in this role, you will bring: Proven experience in a legal support role, ideally supporting a Partner in a fast-paced environment

Strong practice management skills, including billing, WIP management and legal systems knowledge (Elite 3E highly regarded)

Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities

Strong initiative, sound judgment and a proactive approach





Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
