Latrobe Regional Health is looking for Associate Nurse Unit Manager (Cath Lab) to join our growing team on an Part Time 0.5 EFT Ongoing Basis.

The Associate Nurse Unit Manager (Cath Lab) is to support the leadership and daily operations of the Cardiac Catherisation Laboratory. Working alongside the Nurse Unit Manager, this role plays a key part in delivering safe, high-quality perioperative care and ensuring the Cath Lab functions efficiently in accordance with clinical standards, LRH policies and the expectations of the Australian Cardiac Society. The ANUM provides clinical leadership, supports staff, and contributes to service improvement, patient safety and the delivery of exceptional care within the Cath Lab.

The role of the Associate Nurse Unit Manager (Cath Lab) is to:

- Support delivery of safe, competent and person-centred perioperative nursing care for all Cardiac Cath Lab patients.
- Assist the Nurse Unit Manager with daily operational management of the Cath Lab, ensuring effective workflow and adherence to clinical standards.
- Demonstrate visible leadership within the unit, fostering teamwork, accountability and professional practice.
- Ensure the Cardiac Cath Lab operates in alignment with the Australian Cardiac Society’s expectations and evidence-based clinical guidelines.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, cultural awareness, patient safety and positive risk culture across the unit.

About you

Ideal candidates for this role will have:

- Registered Nurse (Division 1)



with AHPRA and current Advanced Life Support competency.
- Recent leadership or management experience, with strong clinical skills in perioperative or Cath Lab nursing.
- Evidence of recent Cardiac Cath Lab experience and ongoing professional development with STEMI experience (desirable).
- Strong communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support and guide clinical staff.
