Join our team and play a key role in delivering two exciting civil projects in Bargara and Burnett Heads, valued between $2–10 million. Working alongside experienced Project Managers and site teams, you'll help drive the successful delivery of these projects while gaining valuable exposure to all aspects of civil construction.

This is a fantastic prospect to be part of Shadforth's continued growth in the Bundaberg region, contributing to our first projects in the area while building a long‑term career with one of Queensland's leading civil contractors.

About the Role

As a Site/Project Engineer, you'll be responsible for coordinating day‑to‑day project activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard. You'll work closely with Supervisors, subcontractors and clients to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate daily construction activities and assist with project delivery.
- Prepare and manage short‑term programmes, ITPs, QA documentation and project reporting.
- Monitor project costs, quantities and progress against budget and programme.
- Procure materials and coordinate subcontractors and suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety requirements and quality standards.
- Assist with client liaison and attend project meetings.
- Identify and resolve technical and construction‑related issues on site.

About You

- Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or equivalent (preferred).
- Previous experience delivering civil infrastructure or subdivision projects.
- Strong understanding of civil construction methodologies.




- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with clients, subcontractors and site teams.
- Proactive, organised and eager to develop your career within a growing business.
