Design your own week. If you're chasing flexibility and autonomy — not just saying you want it but actually structuring your work life around it — this role was built for that. You'll manage your own caseload, set your own schedule, and work across a single retirement village community where clients are a short walk apart. No hours lost to travel. No pressure to hit volume targets. Just quality time with clients you'll get to know well, while providing care with continuity.
The details:
- 3 days per week, with real flexibility in how you structure them
- One established client base — minimal driving, maximum time with clients
- A multidisciplinary allied health team that's genuinely close-knit and collaborative — people who back each other up and share the goal of outstanding client outcomes
- Low admin, low bureaucracy — your time goes to clinical care, not paperwork
- Based on the Mornington Peninsula
The work:
You'll provide comprehensive podiatry care to older clients at home and in clinic, including:
- Assessments, routine and complex foot care
- Diabetic foot assessments and high-risk foot management
- Wound care
- Biomechanical assessments and footwear recommendations
- Client education and preventative care
- Working alongside a multidisciplinary team
You'll need:
- Bachelor of Podiatry (or equivalent) and current AHPRA registration
- A driver's licence
- Experience in community health, aged care or private practice
- Confidence managing your own caseload independently
- Strong clinical and communication skills
Why podiatrists are working on this team:
Most people who move into this position are stepping away from the grind of high-volume private practice — the back-to-back bookings, the constant travel, the admin load. This is the opposite: fewer clients, deeper relationships, real autonomy over your day, and a team that actually supports you rather than just tracking your KPIs.
