This role involves precision TIG welding on stainless steel, aluminium, and other alloys while maintaining high-quality workmanship and workplace safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform high-quality TIG (GTAW) welding on stainless steel, aluminium, and other metals
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding procedures
- Prepare materials through cutting, grinding, and cleaning processes
- Conduct visual inspections to ensure weld quality and compliance
- Maintain welding equipment and ensure safe operation
- Follow workplace health & safety (WHS) procedures at all times




- Collaborate with fabricators, supervisors, and production staff

Skills & Experience

- Proven TIG welding experience within manufacturing or fabrication environments
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Experience with thin gauge and precision welding highly regarded
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines

Qualifications & Licences

- Relevant trade qualification preferred (Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade)
- Welding certifications highly regarded
