About the Opportunity
We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Breast Sonographer to join our expanding team at our Noosa practice. In this role, you will provide high-quality ultrasound imaging services for breast health, including both screening and diagnostic examinations.
The successful candidate will be a dedicated and motivated sonographer who takes pride in delivering high-quality imaging and exceptional patient experiences.
You will be confident working independently, while enjoying the support of an experienced and collaborative team committed to excellence in breast health.
Responsibilities include:
- Ensure the highest standards of patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality.
- Perform ultrasound examinations to produce images of the highest diagnostic quality.
- Assist in interventional breast procedures such as FNA, core biopsy, clip placement, and hookwire localisation.
- Work in tandem with MRI department to correlate MRI breast findings with ultrasound, involved in pre-treatment planning.
- Chance to perform mammography if trained and hold current qualifications and licences.
- Provide compassionate patient care and support throughout imaging procedures.
- Collaborate closely with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate imaging reports.

About you
- Possess an accredited Postgraduate qualification in Medical Ultrasound
- Current ASAR
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficiency with ultrasound equipment and software
- Good organisation and time management skills
- High level of communication with patients and staff
- Passionate about providing an outstanding service to our patients
