Paediatric Occupational Therapist - Western Melbourne area
Job title: Occupational Therapist
Location: Derrimut, Melton & Werribee
Employment Type: Full time, Part time (4 days per week) or 9-day fortnight
Salary: $82,106 – $110,143 per annum (inclusive of annual leave loading) + superannuation + vehicle options + mobile + laptop + options to boost salary up to $10,000
Supervision and Support: Valued at up to $22,000
Caseload: Opportunities to specialise in paediatrics, youth or adult streams
Career development: PD allowance negotiable; formal learning opportunities via registered training organisations and universities

About The Role
Provide life‑changing occupational therapy to NDIS participants in diverse settings such as homes, schools, playgrounds, workplaces and community centres. Use evidence‑based measurement tools and assessment skills to create therapy plans and maximise NDIS funding. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, build meaningful relationships with participants and their supports, attend weekly hub meetings, and work closely with a Team Leader and Therapy Mentor.
Responsibilities
- Deliver assessment and therapeutic interventions to NDIS participants across a variety of settings.
- Create individualized therapy plans that align with participants’ goals and maximise NDIS funding.
- Collaborate with allied health professionals within the hub to deliver coordinated care.
- Develop and maintain therapeutic relationships with participants and their support network.
- Attend and contribute to weekly interdisciplinary hub meetings.
- Utilise the Hub’s knowledge and support resources, including AI‑powered health scribe.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy.
- General AHPRA Registration.
- Valid driver's licence.
- NDIS Workers Screening Check.
- Working with Children Check.
- Positive, flexible, team‑player attitude.
- Commitment to personal and professional development.
- Experience in NDIS or disability services preferred but not required.
