Red Chair Cafe, located in Subiaco, is a decade-old business known for its consistently delicious and high-quality food. For the past ten years, we have been recognised as one of the most popular cafes serving Vietnamese and Malaysian dishes in Perth across print and digital media. We offer a small, unique menu that our customers love, making our operations straightforward. We are a busy restaurant/cafe and are always looking for energetic and dedicated people to join our team.

What’s Required

- Minimum 2 years' experience as a chef in a fast-paced cafe or restaurant environment
- Robust cooking skills with the ability to prepare a range of items in Asian cuisine
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment




- Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with the front-of-house team
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
- Any special training/education is preferred

Responsibilities

- Preparing Vietnamese and Malaysian dishes on our Lunch & Takeaway menu
- Ensuring all food is presented to a high standard and in accordance with our recipes and quality standards
- Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment
- Co-ordinating with other kitchen staff when needed
- Adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations
