About the Role

We are partnering with a well-established food service organisation seeking a commercially minded Procurement Excellence Manager to help elevate procurement capability across a complex, fast-paced and growing business.

This is a highly visible role that sits at the intersection of procurement, operations and business transformation. Rather than managing categories, the focus is on strengthening procurement governance, embedding best practice processes and improving the systems, reporting and frameworks that enable procurement to operate more effectively. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving operational maturity, improving supplier performance and supporting the business as it continues to evolve.

Working closely with stakeholders across Product Development, Technical, Supply Chain, Finance and Operations, you will identify opportunities to simplify processes, improve data and reporting capability, enhance supplier governance and implement scalable procurement solutions. The role is ideally suited to someone who enjoys solving complex operational challenges, influencing stakeholders and building fit-for-purpose procurement processes that deliver measurable commercial and operational value.

Key Responsibilities

This is a meaty procurement role responsible for driving improvements across supplier management, procurement governance, reporting, KPI development, procurement systems and continuous improvement initiatives. A key focus of the position will be identifying process inefficiencies, reducing manual activities and implementing practical, scalable solutions that enhance procurement performance,



compliance and overall operational effectiveness.

The role will also play an important part in supporting the organisation's broader procurement transformation agenda, helping to strengthen governance frameworks, standardise procurement processes and embed consistent ways of working across both operational and project environments. Success in the role will require strong stakeholder engagement across technical, operational and corporate functions, ensuring procurement practices support broader commercial objectives while delivering tangible improvements in efficiency, value and service delivery.

About You

You will possess robust commercial acumen, analytical capability and the ability to operate both strategically and hands-on. Strong stakeholder engagement skills will be essential, as this role requires collaboration across engineering, operations and executive teams while influencing outcomes in an environment that continues to scale and evolve.

Experience improving procurement governance, supplier performance, reporting structures, operational processes and procurement systems will be highly regarded.
