About the role

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Contracts Superintendent to join a high performing Procurement Team. You will coordinate the end-to-end procurement and contract management process, ensuring commercial outcomes are achieved while maintaining compliance with company policies, legislative requirements and industry best practice.

Whilst this is a permanent position, if contracting is your preference then we would also be happy to consider experienced day rate contractors for the role.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Coordinating end-to-end tendering and contract administration activities across a diverse portfolio of contracts.
- Drafting, reviewing and managing contracts and tender documentation to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Leading contract negotiations to achieve the best commercial outcomes while effectively managing contractual risk.
- Identifying, assessing and proactively managing contract risks throughout the contract lifecycle.
- Providing commercial advice and interpreting contract terms and conditions for internal stakeholders.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop procurement strategies and support contract execution.
- Monitoring procurement activities, contract performance and budgets to ensure value for money and effective resource management.
- Maintaining contract management systems, procurement records and project documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.

About the Person

- Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain Management, Business, Commerce, Law or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience coordinating procurement and contract management activities in a mining, construction, industrial or heavy industry environment.




- Strong knowledge of end-to-end procurement processes, contract administration and commercial principles.
- Experience leading tender processes and supporting or leading contract negotiations.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence across multiple business functions.
- Strong analytical, organisational and problem solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Experience using ERP, Procure-to-Pay and contract management systems.

- Salary up to $220,000 package plus bonus.
