Your new company An opportunity exists for an experienced procurement skilled to join a well-established organisation with significant accountability and governance obligations. Working as a trusted advisor to business leaders, you will play a key role in strengthening procurement capability, driving commercial outcomes, and fostering greater competition and value across procurement activities.
This is a highly autonomous role where you'll have the opportunity to influence procurement culture, develop effective sourcing strategies, and partner with stakeholders to deliver commercially sound outcomes that support broader organisational objectives.
Your new role
- Partnering with stakeholders to identify procurement opportunities and deliver commercially sound outcomes
- Providing expert advice on procurement strategy, market engagement and sourcing approaches
- Reviewing, analysing and negotiating contracts to ensure favourable commercial terms and mitigate risk
- Driving greater competition and value through procurement activities
- Uplifting procurement capability across the business through coaching, guidance and education
- Leading and supporting end-to-end procurement processes across a range of categories
- Navigating complex and often ambiguous procurement challenges with confidence and creativity
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of procurement frameworks, policies and practices
What you'll need to succeed
We are seeking a commercially minded procurement professional who combines strong technical procurement knowledge with exceptional stakeholder engagement skills.
- Demonstrated experience in procurement, sourcing, commercial management or contract management
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to interpret contracts, identify risks and uncover value opportunities
- Experience providing strategic procurement advice to senior stakeholders
- Excellent communication and influencing skills with the ability to build trusted relationships across a business
- The confidence to work independently, prioritise competing demands and manage your own portfolio
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach with the ability to operate effectively in changing or ambiguous environments
- Experience across technology procurement will be highly regarded
