About the role
An exciting prospect has become available for an experienced Procurement and Contracts Specialist to join a high-performing Procurement Team.
Reporting to the Superintendent, Procurement and Contracts, you will play a key role in the end-to-end administration of procurement and contract activities, ensuring contracts are managed efficiently, compliantly and in line with company policies and legislative requirements.
Whilst this is a permanent position, if contracting is your preference then we would also be happy to consider experienced day rate contractors for the role.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the end-to-end tendering and contract administration process in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Drafting, reviewing and maintaining contract documentation to ensure accuracy, compliance and consistency.
- Assisting with contract negotiations by preparing documentation, conducting research and maintaining contract records.
- Identifying and communicating contract risks while supporting effective risk mitigation strategies.
- Maintaining contract management systems, contractor registers and procurement records to ensure data integrity and compliance.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to develop procurement documentation and support sourcing activities.
- Monitoring contract performance and identifying opportunities to improve procurement processes and systems.
About the Person
- Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain Management, Business, Administration, Law, Commerce or a related discipline.
- Minimum three years' experience in procurement, contracts administration or a similar commercial role.
- Sound understanding of contract law fundamentals and end-to-end procurement processes.
- Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build effective stakeholder relationships.
- Experience using Microsoft Office, ERP/Procure-to-Pay systems and contract management software.

- Salary up to $160,000 package plus bonus.
