Tyrepower Cairns is a family-owned local business with over 30 years in Far North Queensland. We're known for honest advice, friendly service, and getting the job done right. We supply and fit tyres and wheels for cars, utes and 4WDs, and we take pride in looking after our customers properly.

The role

We're looking for a Tyre Salesperson who enjoys helping customers and building long-term relationships. This role suits someone who is confident talking to people, can quote accurately, and can work well with the workshop to keep jobs moving smoothly.

This is a full time position, Monday to Friday 8am–5pm, plus one to two Saturday mornings per month (8am–11am).

We're open to:

- Experienced tyre/wheel salespeople

- Tyre fitters or mechanics wanting to move into sales

- Strong retail or customer service people ready for a new direction

Key responsibilities

- Assist customers with tyre and wheel selections for cars, utes and 4WDs

- Provide clear and accurate quotes over the counter and on the phone

- Book jobs and coordinate with the workshop to keep work flowing smoothly





- Maintain product knowledge and recommend suitable options

- Follow up with customers where needed

- Help grow repeat business and support the team's daily goals

What we’re looking for

- Friendly, approachable and customer-focused

- Reliable, organised and able to multitask

- Confident communicator in person and on the phone

- Comfortable using basic computer and point-of-sale systems, or willing to learn

- Able to work independently and as part of a team

- Interest in cars, 4WDs, tyres or wheels is helpful but not essential

- Tyre industry experience is a bonus, but attitude and willingness to learn matters most
