About the role

Maximum Altitude Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and reliable MR Truck Driver to join our team in Edinburgh at the DHL site . This is a casual position with hours that typically range from 35-45 hours per week. We will also consider drivers that may only want to work 4 days per week or a 9 day fortnight.

The position offers outstanding variety driving Modern 10 pallet trucks with tail lifts in Metro Adelaide and Regional areas in South Australia. Some work involves paid overnight stays in quality accommodation in some of South Australia's great Regional towns and Broken Hill NSW.

Typically the hours of work are 7am -4pm.

What you'll be doing

- Safely operating and maintaining medium rigid trucks to transport goods across metropolitan and regional areas

- Adhering to all relevant road rules and transportation regulations

- Ensuring thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections are completed

- Maintaining accurate trip logs and other documentation

- Assisting with loading and unloading of cargo as required

- Providing excellent customer service to clients

What we're looking for

- Hold a valid MR class driver's license and must have a minimum of 6 demerit points available.

- Applicants must be well presented, fit and in positive health understanding that this role has various manual handling components.

- Applicants must be reliable, punctual and flexible to work in the many driving roles that the business has to offer.

- Applicants must be able to present a clean Crime check report when requested.

- Applicants must have a good Driving history report with no Alcohol or drug related charges.





- Applicants must have full working rights and must have good English with good reading and writing competencies.

- Have experience operating medium rigid trucks

- Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and compliance

- Excellent time management and organizational skills

- Good communication and customer service skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
