The Video Editor will be responsible for assembling raw footage into polished, compelling videos that support brand narratives and marketing campaigns. Day-to-day tasks include organizing and cutting clips, adding transitions, sound, and graphics, color correcting footage, and ensuring continuity and consistency across projects. The role involves collaborating closely with creative, brand, and marketing teams to translate concepts into visual stories, adapting content for different platforms, and maintaining organized project files and media libraries. The Video Editor will also help refine visual standards, suggest creative improvements,



and ensure all content aligns with Bydefine’s brand-building philosophy.Qualifications Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and basic motion graphics tools.Strong skills in visual storytelling, shot selection, pacing, and narrative structure for short- and long-form video content.Experience with color correction, sound editing, and integrating music, voice-over, and graphics to enhance brand messaging.Ability to adapt content to various formats and platforms (social media, web, presentations) while maintaining brand consistency.Solid understanding of brand strategy and marketing fundamentals, with the ability to translate brand guidelines into video outputs.Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management, with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.Collaborative mindset and strong communication skills for working with creative, marketing, and client-facing teams.Relevant experience as a Video Editor; a portfolio or showreel demonstrating previous work is required.Diploma or degree in Film, Media, Visual Communication, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
