About The Role

Management Consultant – Government & Advisory

Location: Canberra (preferred) | Remote considered for the right candidate

Consulting | Client-Facing Role

We are seeking a Management Consultant to join our advisory team, primarily supporting Federal Government projects, while also working across a broader client portfolio.

The Opportunity

This role is ideal for someone with around 3 years’ experience who is ready to step into a highly client-facing consulting role. You will take ownership of defined workstreams, support junior team members,



and deliver high-quality outcomes across government and non-government engagements.

You will join a team that is large enough to make a real impact, yet small enough to ensure you are supported, developed, and visible. While the role is Canberra-based, remote or adaptable arrangements will be considered for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

Work with clients to identify business issues and root causesContribute to and manage government projects or defined work packagesDevelop project plans, schedules, and deliverablesProduce high-quality reports, tender responses, and client-ready outputsApply government compliance, assurance, and governance frameworksDesign and contribute to practical, fit-for-purpose solutionsConduct research and analysis to support decision-makingSupport and coach junior team membersBuild strong client relationships through clear, confident communicationParticipate in business development, networking, and relationship buildingWork across government and non-government clients

About You

Experience & Qualifications

Essential Experience

3 years’ experience in consulting, advisory, or a similar roleExperience working on Federal Government projects (consulting or internal government roles)Understanding of government environments,



compliance, and assuranceExposure to project, change, or business analytics methodologies (e.g. PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum, MSP, P3M3, Prosci)Experience producing client-ready reports and deliverablesBaseline security clearance or eligibility to obtain one

Education

Tertiary qualification in Business, Public Sector, Project Management, IT, Data, or a related discipline.

Citizenship Requirement

Due to the nature of our government work and potential security clearance requirements, Australian or New Zealand citizenship is essential.
