Key Responsibilities & Duties
1. Program Facilitation & Participant SupportDeliver and facilitate the Barista Skillz training program- and other Soaring Together programs.Provide direct support to participants within a supported employment capacity on the Brew Crew coffee van and other employment areas.Provide on-the-ground support, "filling in" across programs to ensure seamless operations.2. Program Coordination & LogisticsOrganise rostering for both the Barista Skillz program and the Brew Crew coffee van staff/participants.Maintain stock levels for the van and ensure perishable items are prepared and available for the team.Safely transport and tow the Brew Crew van to and from locations and events.Maintain a forward-planning schedule, locking in Barista Skillz programs at least two blocks in advance.3. Participant Onboarding & EngagementLead the onboarding process for participants entering employment supports and training.Identify individual participant support needs to ensure tailored, safe, and effective skill development.Maintain proactive, open communication and gather feedback from participants and their support networks to measure program success and satisfaction.4. Promotion & AdministrationAccess and monitor Brew Crew social media platforms to engage with the community and promote the organisation's core purpose.Actively respond to inquiries and drive bookings for the coffee van at community and corporate events.Collaborate with the Operations Manager to refine onboarding systems and implement practical, adaptive program changes.Complete accurate and timely administrative tasks and reporting as required
Skills, Knowledge & Requirements
Availability: Ready for an immediate start in the role.Licensing & Towing (MANDATORY): Current Australian Driver's License. You must know how to safely tow a trailer/van, or at a bare minimum, be fully committed to completing mandatory training to safely tow the Brew Crew van. Candidates unwilling or unable to fulfill this requirement will not be considered.Industry Experience: Experience in disability support work, with a strong understanding of participant-centered support.Hospitality Skills: Solid barista and hospitality knowledge to effectively facilitate training.Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust with participants, families, and external stakeholders.Organisation: Strong time management skills to manage rosters, schedules, and inventory simultaneously
