Our workshop handles everything from routine servicing and maintenance through to major mechanical repairs, diagnostics, suspension, brakes, engine work and complex fault finding across a wide range of light vehicles.

We're looking for one experienced Automotive Technician who takes pride in their work, enjoys solving problems, and wants to join a friendly team where their skills are genuinely valued.

Pay

$45 - $60 per hour depending on experience and capability.

The Workshop

A well-established automotive workshop with over 30 years of history in the local community and a loyal customer base that keeps coming back.

⏰ Work-Life Balance

Monday to Friday – 8:00am to 4:00pm.

Saturday work is available if you want it, but it's completely optional.

️ The Work

A broad range of mechanical repairs and servicing across all makes and models of light vehicles.

No two days are the same.

THE WORK

This isn't a workshop where you'll spend every day doing oil changes.

You'll be involved in:

- Logbook servicing

- Brake and suspension repairs

- Engine diagnostics and fault finding

- Steering and driveline repairs

- Cooling system repairs

- Timing belt and engine work

- General mechanical repairs

- Customer vehicle inspections and reporting

You'll work on a huge variety of passenger vehicles, 4WDs, SUVs and light commercial vehicles.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

You're not just someone who changes parts.

You're someone who can think, diagnose problems and take pride in getting the job done properly.

You MUST have:

- Trade Qualification as an Automotive Technician / Mechanic

- Minimum 5 years post-trade experience preferred

- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability

- Experience working on a wide variety of vehicle makes and models

- Current driver's licence

- Right to work in Australia

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Bonus points if you have:

- Auto electrical diagnostic experience

- Air conditioning experience

- Wheel alignment experience

- Experience mentoring apprentices
