Are you an experienced Truck Driver who enjoys hands-on work and variety in your day? In-Depth Landscape Construction is seeking a reliable and motivated Truck Driver with the ability to load and unload excavation and skid steer machinery, to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in their work, values teamwork, and enjoys contributing to high-quality landscaping projects across Canberra and surrounding regions.
The Role
This is a diverse role that combines truck driving with machinery operation and occasional landscape work.
You'll play an important part in supporting our project teams by:
- Operating medium rigid vehicles to transport materials, machinery, and equipment to and from job sites.
- Assisting with site preparation, material handling, and general labouring duties.
- Performing basic maintenance checks on vehicles and equipment.
- Working closely with project & site teams to ensure jobs run smoothly and safely.
- Assisting Landscape teams if required.
- Maintaining a clean and organised vehicle and yard area.
About You
To succeed in this role, you'll bring:
- A current MR licence (essential).
- A minimum of 6 months MR truck driving experience is required.
- Multiple machinery tickets are required including excavator and skid steer and any other additional equipment certifications.
- White Card, Silca Card & Asbestos (qualifications are essential)
- Experience in labouring (beneficial)
- Strong work ethic, reliability and planning ability.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and follow direction.
- A positive attitude and willingness to lend a hand wherever needed.
Desirable but not essential:
- Forklift licence.
