About the role AGL has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Interface Manager to join our Energy Assets team on a 24-month fixed term contract, supporting the delivery of the Hunter Transmission Project (HTP) while protecting the ongoing safe and efficient operation of Bayswater Power Station. This role is based on site at Bayswater Power Station, Muswellbrook, and offers a unique opportunity to lead AGL's interface with one of Recent South Wales' most significant transmission infrastructure projects. You will act as the key point of contact between AGL, government agencies, project stakeholders and internal business units, ensuring AGL's obligations are met while minimising impacts to operations and delivering positive outcomes for the business.
What you will be doing As the Interface Manager, you will lead and coordinate activities associated with AGL's obligations under the Hunter Transmission Project land acquisition agreements, ensuring the continued efficient operation of Bayswater Power Station. Key aspects of the role include:Acting as the primary point of contact for all matters relating to the Hunter Transmission ProjectRepresenting AGL at contractual meetings,



forums and stakeholder engagementsLeading and coordinating internal and external specialists to meet project obligations and minimise operational impactsManaging interfaces between the project and existing environmental, planning and operational requirementsDeveloping risk mitigation strategies to protect AGL's operational activities and projectsCoordinating information requests, scopes of work and specialist services required under project agreementsLeading implementation activities including site communications, access protocols, procedural changes and operational adjustmentsManaging project-related budgets, procurement activities, resource planning and reportingDeveloping and nurturing strong relationships across government agencies, contractors, consultants and internal stakeholdersPromoting a culture of safety, compliance and operational excellence across all project activities
What you will bring To succeed in this role, you'll be a confident leader with exceptional stakeholder management capability and experience working within large-scale industrial, infrastructure, energy or government-related projects.Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary teams and coordinating complex project interfacesStakeholder engagement and relationship management skills across diverse groupsExperience working within power generation, electrical transmission, major infrastructure or complex industrial environmentsProven contract administration, project governance and cost management capabilityTertiary qualifications in Engineering, Project Management, Business, Legal Studies or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant industry experienceExcellent communication,



negotiation and facilitation skillsCommercial acumen and ability to balance competing stakeholder priorities
