The Opportunity

Mineral Resources is seeking experienced Advanced Riggers for upcoming construction projects across Western Australia.

These projects involve the construction of critical non-processing infrastructure, including:

- Accommodation villages
- Site office complexes
- Fuel farms
- Heavy vehicle workshops
- Vehicle wash-down facilities
- Crushing Plants

Your Responsibilities

Reporting to the Supervisor, your duties will include:

- Following all safety procedures to maintain a safe and productive work environment
- Conducting daily inspections of lifting equipment including slings, chains, shackles and specialised lifting gear
- Reading and interpreting structural marking plans for steel installation works
- Performing and checking rigging techniques before lifts are executed
- Assessing load weights and crane capacities




- Reading and understanding engineered lifting studies for heavy and complex lifts
- Assisting mechanical teams with conveyor fit-outs, hard skirts and dust covers
- Reporting unsafe conditions or equipment faults immediately
- Working collaboratively with mechanical fitters, boilermakers and piping crews

Required Tickets & Experience

- Previous mining, construction or resources industry experience
- HRWL – RA, RI & WP
- Working at Heights (within 2 years)
- Construction White Card
- Unlimited Australian working rights
- National Police Clearance (within 12 months)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
