About the Role
We are seeking self-motivated, highly skilled Heavy Vehicle Diesel Technician to join our modern, well-equipped workshop. This is an chance to work in a values-driven organisation that prioritises safety, respect, and teamwork.
In this role, you will rotate through different repair teams, gaining experience across various products and mechanical systems, keeping your workdays diverse and engaging.
Key Responsibilities
- Repair mechanical systems including engine, transmission, and suspension components
- Fit and complete all accessories as requested on repair orders
- Identify and advise on any additional work required
- Conduct test drives and inspections in line with Service Check Sheets
- Produce clear and detailed reports outlining work completed, supplies used, and recommendations
Skills & Experience
- Minimum certificate 3 mechanical trade certificate/qualification
- Experience in the Heavy Vehicle industry is advantageous but not essential
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality work on time and within budget
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Current HC/HR driver’s licence is a plus
