We are currently seeking an experienced, motivated, and safety-focused Mechanical Trades Assistant to join our Forrestdale workshop team on a permanent full-time basis.
About the Role:
- Roster: Monday to Friday | 5:2 Roster
- Hours: Approx. 10-hour days
- Employment Type: Permanent Full-Time
- Location: Forrestdale, WA
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Assisting tradespersons with maintenance and repairs on surface drill rigs and mobile equipment - Epiroc D65 and T45
- Installation and fitting of mechanical components
- General workshop duties and housekeeping
- Cleaning and maintaining machinery and surrounding work areas
- Supporting safe and efficient workshop operations

About You:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Solid work ethic and commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to work effectively within a team workplace
- Current Australian C-Class Driver’s Licence (HR Licence desirable)
- Current Forklift Licence (essential)
- Previous experience assisting HD Fitters and/or Drill Fitters (desirable)
- Ability to provide a National Police Clearance
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening
