About You
We’re looking for people who:
- Have a genuine passion for working with young children.
- Are committed to providing high-quality education and care.
- Bring a warm, positive, and collaborative approach to their work.
- Hold a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or are actively working towards completion.
- Hold, or are willing to obtain, a Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) Registration (ACT) or Working with Children Check (NSW).
- Demonstrate strong communication skills and a commitment to child safety and wellbeing.
Working With Vulnerable People (WWVP) Requirements
All YWCA Canberra employees must hold and maintain a valid Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) Registration for the duration of their employment. We operate under a strict “No Card, No Start” policy, which means this clearance must be obtained before commencing employment.
