We are a family operated business located in Aldinga that supply timber, building supplies and prefabricated components to builders within metro and greater SA.
We are seeking an experienced Crane Truck Operator that is available for an immediate start.
This is a full time position that requires a quality, customer focused operator that has experience operating crane trucks.
We operate Monday to Friday and our fleet consists of modern, well maintained automatic crane trucks.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering building materials via crane truck to residential building sites
- Delivering and craning in prefabricated components for our installers
- Ensure all loads are correctly loaded and secured
- Carry out routine vehicle checks
- Assistance with loading and unloading trucks using forklift, crane or other lifting equipment according to site requirements
- Ensuring vehicles are kept clean and maintained in accordance with company expectations
- Reporting to the Transport Manager
Experience / Attributes
- HC license, Forklift license and current driver’s license is a must
- License to operate a vehicle crane (CV crane ticket)
- This is a hands-on role, and the applicant must be physically capable to perform the manual tasks involved
- Sufficient experience training in load tie down and restraint
- A background in delivering timber & building supplies would be an advantage
- Rigging / Dogman ticket is an advantage
- Honest, reliable and punctual
- Police clearance
We are seeking drivers that operate well within a team, diligent with checking their loads and focused on delivering the load in a safe manner.
