We’re looking for Support Workers interested in drive-in, drive-out (DIDO) opportunities in Jambinu (Geraldton).

You’ll join genU and support people with disability to live fulfilling, independent lives. Working across accommodation and community settings, you’ll provide tailored, person-centred support while building strong, positive relationships.

Current Opportunities

These roles are offered on a permanent part time basis, working a one-week-on, one-week-off roster. You may also have the option to work additional shifts during your week off.

While travelling to and from Geraldton:

- Your travel time will be paid.
- You will receive a kilometre reimbursement for using your private vehicle.
- Accommodation and meals will be provided during your working week in Geraldton.

What You’ll Do

- Support person-centred plans that identify each customer’s life goals and help them work towards achieving those goals.
- Join customers in the community and participate in recreational activities.
- Support customers in accommodation settings with daily living activities, including meal preparation, housekeeping, showering, toileting, medication administration and attending appointments.
- Follow positive behaviour support plans.
- Complete administration duties and mandatory reporting.

What You’ll Bring

- An understanding of, and enthusiasm for,



working alongside people with disability.
- A willingness to assist with personal care and domestic duties.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective working relationships.
- The ability to follow person-centred plans and support people to achieve their goals and outcomes.
- A valid driver’s licence and willingness to use your private vehicle, in line with genU’s motor vehicle allowance arrangements.

Bonus points

- Certificate III in Individual Support (CHC33015 or CHC33021)

(You’ll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate – but don’t worry, we’ll help guide you through this.)
