AWE is currently seeking experienced Fitters & Auto Electricians to support multiple hard rock mining operations across Australia. These opportunities involve working with Tier 1 and Tier 2 mining clients to deliver high-quality maintenance and breakdown support.

Key Responsibilities:

- Not all roles require you to work in a UG mix of surface & underground workshops.
- Breakdown & workshop roles available.
- Conducting rebuilds and component change-outs.
- Planned shutdown maintenance on UG machinery.
- Diagnosing and rectifying mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic faults.
- Performing preventative and breakdown maintenance on Sandvik, Caterpillar, Epiroc, Volvo and Normet machinery.

- Rates up to $95 per hour casual, pending experience.

To be considered, you must hold the following:





- Valid Australian Working Rights
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Experience with mining & heavy equipment.
- Australian Recognised Trade Certificate (Heavy Diesel / Mobile Plant/Automotive Electrical).
- Ability to pass full pre-employment medical & drug/alcohol screening.
