At INSITE Residential, we're a boutique residential builder based in North Fremantle, delivering high-quality custom homes and developments across Perth.
We're looking for an experienced Estimating & Scheduling Manager to become a key part of our team. This is a hands-on role where you'll work closely with the directors and project team, helping ensure our projects are accurately costed, well planned and set up for success from day one.
We're after someone who enjoys taking ownership of their work, has a sharp eye for detail and wants to be part of a business where your input genuinely makes a difference. What you'll be doing
- Preparing accurate cost estimates for custom homes and residential projects.
- Developing and maintaining construction programs and project schedules.
- Reviewing plans, engineering, specifications and contract documentation.
- Working closely with our directors, supervisors and project managers throughout the estimating and pre-construction process.
- Obtaining and reviewing subcontractor and supplier quotations.
- Monitoring budgets and identifying opportunities to improve efficiencies and value.
- Maintaining estimating databases, pricing and scheduling information.
- Assisting with project handovers to ensure jobs are well prepared before construction begins.
- Helping refine and improve our estimating and scheduling systems as the business continues to grow.
About you
You'll have solid residential estimating experience and be someone who enjoys being organised, proactive and solutions-focused.
Ideally you'll bring:
- At least 5 years' experience in residential estimating and scheduling.
- A good understanding of residential construction methods and the WA building industry.
- Experience interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with trades, suppliers and clients.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Confidence managing multiple projects and priorities.
- Strong Excel skills and experience with estimating software.
- A qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a related field is advantageous but not essential for the right person.
