Resource Furniture
Adelaide
Help shape the spaces where people learn, work and connect.
At Resource Furniture, we believe great spaces inspire great experiences.
For almost 50 years, we've partnered with schools, libraries, universities and commercial organisations to create environments that people genuinely enjoy using.
We're looking for an experienced Project Delivery & Procurement Coordinator to join our Operations team and play a key role in bringing great designs to life.
Working from our showroom, office and warehouse in Richmond, you'll coordinate every stage of commercial furniture projects, working closely with customers, suppliers, installers and our Sales and Design teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget and to the highest standard.
If you enjoy bringing order to complexity, building strong relationships and seeing projects successfully delivered, we'd love to hear from you.
The Opportunity
This is a hands-on coordination role that combines project management, procurement, logistics and customer service.
You'll take ownership of multiple commercial furniture projects simultaneously, ensuring each one progresses smoothly through purchasing, manufacturing, delivery and installation.
No two days are the same, and that's exactly what makes this role so rewarding.
One day you might be coordinating shipments from Europe; the next, scheduling an interstate installation or working with a customer to ensure everything is ready for delivery.
What You'll Be Doing
- Coordinate commercial furniture projects from order confirmation through to installation
- Purchase products from Australian and international suppliers
- Raise and manage purchase orders within our ERP system
- Monitor supplier lead times and proactively manage project schedules
- Coordinate customer payment milestones, including deposits and final payments, to support manufacturing and delivery schedules
- Schedule deliveries and installations across Australia
- Liaise daily with customers, suppliers, freight providers and installation teams
- Manage warranty claims, service requests and non-conformance reports
- Work closely with our Sales, Design and Warehouse teams to deliver exceptional customer outcomes
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance the customer experience
About You
You'll be someone who naturally enjoys organising people, information and timelines.
You're proactive, calm under pressure and take pride in making sure nothing falls through the cracks.
Ideally, you'll bring:
- 3-5 years' experience in project coordination, procurement, purchasing, logistics or project administration
- Experience coordinating multiple projects simultaneously
- Outstanding organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving ability
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
- Experience using ERP or CRM software (Odoo experience would be highly regarded)
Experience within commercial furniture, manufacturing, construction, interiors or commercial fit-out industries would be advantageous but isn't essential.
Why Resource Furniture?
We're proud to be one of Australia's leading commercial furniture specialists, but what we're most proud of is the culture we've built.
As a close-knit team, we value collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement. Everyone has the opportunity to contribute ideas, take ownership of their role and help shape the future of our business.
When you join Resource Furniture, you'll become part of a supportive team where your contribution is recognised and where you'll have the opportunity to grow alongside a business that's been creating exceptional spaces for almost 50 years.
We offer:
- Modern showroom and office facilities based in Richmond, Adelaide
- Interesting, design-focused projects across Australia
