We are seeking an experienced Yardperson and Machine Cleaner for an immediate start based at our Naval Base Maintenance Facility. This role will be focused on the upkeep of our yard and workshop and the cleaning and detailing of a variety of mobile plant and equipment.

Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Pressure clean plant and equipment

- Carry out weed and seed cleaning and inspections on plant and equipment

- Detail plant and equipment cabins

- Touch up paint on plant and equipment

- Maintain wash bay facilities to a high standard

- Ensure stock and consumable levels for wash bay facility are maintained

- Operate Forklift as required

- Ensure the yard and workshop area is clean and tidy at all times

- Assist Tradespeople with maintenance activities as required





- Load and unload trucks

- Remain flexible with the ability to work overtime

- Other duties as directed by the Workshop Leading Hand

Requirements:

- High Risk Work License - Forklift (LF)

- High Risk Work License Non-Slewing Crane (CN) - advantageous

- Current Driver's License C Class - HR advantageous

- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred

- Ability to operate cleaning equipment and machinery

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Pass a Pre-Employment Medical
