Key Responsibilities
- Heavy Grinding: A significant portion of this role involves high-volume grinding, smoothing, and prepping steel products.
- Assisting qualified tradespeople with fabrication and manufacturing tasks.
- Operating hand and power tools safely.
- General workshop maintenance and ensuring a clean, safe work environment.
What We Are Looking For To be successful in this role, you must meet the following criteria:
- Full Australian Work Rights: You must have permanent residency or citizenship. (Please note: No sponsorship or visa holders will be considered for this position).
- Comfortable with high-volume,
repetitive grinding work and heavy physical labor.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol screen.
- A valid Construction White Card (preferred).
- Robust commitment to workplace health and safety.
- Reliable transport to get to Naval Base for early shifts.
