About the Role

As our Centre Chef, you will:

- Plan and prepare nutritious, delicious meals and snacks for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years.

- Cater for a variety of dietary requirements, allergies and cultural preferences.

- Maintain a clean, organised and compliant commercial kitchen.

- Manage food ordering, stock control and kitchen budgets.

- Ensure all food safety, hygiene and nutrition standards are met.

- Work closely with our educators to create positive mealtime experiences for children.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

- Has experience working as a chef, cook or in commercial food preparation.

- Is passionate about children's health and nutrition.

- Has excellent organisational and time management skills.





- Understands food safety requirements and kitchen compliance.

- Can work independently while being a valued member of the centre team.

- Brings a positive, reliable and friendly attitude to work each day.

Essential Requirements

- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willingness to obtain).

- Current Working with Children Check/Blue Card (or ability to obtain before commencing).

- Experience managing food allergies and special dietary requirements.

- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications are desirable but not essential.

- Available 4 to 5 days a week
