Working closely with the Head of Digital, we are looking for a skilled and proven Web Designer with a passion for delivering high quality work to clients in mining, tech and industrial applications. The ideal candidate will design and elevate responsive and user-friendly websites, bringing a strong portfolio and creative flair to the digital team. A keen eye for translating client needs into user-friendly designs is essential.
A typical day might look like: Designing in Figma: getting on the tools and performing tasks ranging from updating existing client sites, to working on greenfield projects.Development benchmarking: cutting through the noise to research and identify visual inspiration for web design projects.Finessing the concept: reviewing and implementing updates to any client-reported feedback or updates on current project designs.Team and business-unit powwow's: attending a quick stand-up or catch-up with the team to align on priorities.Presenting your works: with clients and internal account managers.
Key responsibilities:Produce high-quality website designsCollaborate with developers,



account managers and clients to deliver considered solutions.Assist with project scoping, quoting, and solution discussions.Deliver work to agreed standards and timelines.Own web design standards, accessibility compliance and usability quality.Present designs to internal and external stakeholders online and in-person.Contribute to and evolve our design system across Figma and code
Skills and experience3+ years' corporate web design experience or portfolio of industry leading workStrong intersection between brand design and UX skillAbility to research effectively and know where to find high-quality resourcesAbility to adapt design inspiration across different industriesKnowledge and curiosity to explore AI tools in your workflowComfortable liaising with internal and external stakeholders in planning and presentation phases.Ability to interpret client requirements and translate them into designs that support the strategyHIGHLY DESIRABLE, NOT ESSENTIAL: motion graphics, video editing skills
