About This Opportunity
Lead at the forefront of strategic financial thinking in a visionary, hands‑on role that shapes how the University evolves its budget operating model. As Associate Director, Financial Frameworks and Analytics you will design and steward enterprise‑wide financial frameworks, modelling capability, and performance insights that guide senior decision‑making. You will transform manual processes, strengthen data‑driven insights, partner with senior leaders to translate complex financial data into actionable insights, and foster a culture of analytical rigour, innovation and continuous improvement across the University.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement and steward enterprise‑wide financial frameworks and modelling capabilities.
- Develop performance insights to guide senior decision‑making and support impactful outcomes across the University.
- Transform manual processes and strengthen data‑driven insights.
- Partner closely with senior leaders to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
- Foster a culture of analytical rigour, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Strategic finance leadership experience with a strong foundation in financial modelling, forecasting and performance analysis.
- Expertise in developing and governing financial frameworks within complex organisations.
- Proven ability to apply robust analytical methods to inform high‑level decision‑making.
- Confident communicator and trusted advisor, able to translate complex information into concise insights for executive audiences.
- Collaborative and influential, with demonstrated ability to build stakeholder relationships and drive alignment across diverse teams.
- Leadership style underpinned by strong judgement, commitment to continuous improvement, and a thoughtful, ambitious approach.
