About The Healix Centre The Healix Centre is a specialist trauma-focused psychology practice founded by experienced psychologists Dina Allami and Dana Yalouz. Created from a shared vision to provide compassionate, evidence-based care, our practice supports children, adolescents, and adults experiencing the effects of trauma and a broad range of mental health concerns.

Our clinicians integrate EMDR therapy, parts work approaches, and other evidence-based therapies within a holistic, mind-body framework to help clients achieve meaningful and lasting change.

About the Role

We are looking for a Psychologist or Clinical Psychologist who enjoys building strong therapeutic relationships and is passionate about delivering high-quality, evidence-based care.

This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse adult caseload,



with the option to also work with children and adolescents if desired. It is ideal for clinicians who are interested in specialising in trauma therapy and developing confidence in EMDR within a supportive clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver evidence-based psychological assessment and intervention within a trauma-informed framework.
- Work with a diverse caseload of clients presenting with trauma and a broad range of mental health concerns.
- Maintain accurate clinical notes, reports, and professional correspondence.
- Participate in peer supervision, case discussions, networking opportunities, and ongoing professional development.
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and supportive team culture.

What We're Looking For

You will have

- Full registration as a Psychologist or Clinical Psychologist with AHPRA.
- Eligibility to provide Medicare-rebated psychological services.
- A current ABN or willingness to obtain one.
- Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance (or willingness to obtain).
- A genuine interest in trauma-informed practice and a desire to continue developing your expertise in trauma therapy.
- Willingness to complete EMDR Basic Training (fully funded by The Healix Centre).
- Availability to work a minimum of two days per week, with capacity to see at least five clients each day.
- Interest in working with adults. Experience working with children and adolescents is highly regarded but not essential.
- A current Working with Children Check and National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
