Our client URGENTLY requires a RAM Engineer for 10 months + Contract in Canberra.

As a RAM (Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability) Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and performance of systems and solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality products and services, and you will be responsible for analysing system designs, identifying potential risks, and implementing strategies to optimise reliability and maintainability.

Responsibilities include

Conduct reliability analysis and failure prediction assessments for vessel propulsion systems, mechanical systems, electrical systems, mission systems, and amphibious vehicle subsystems.

Develop, maintain, and optimise reliability and availability models, considering maintenance strategies, spares provisioning, deployment cycles, and sustainment requirements.

Integrate RAM requirements and analyses into vessel,



vehicle, mission system, and combat system designs and associated engineering activities.

Conduct investigations into equipment failures and performance issues, identifying recurring failure modes, maintenance bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.

Must have (minimum) NV1 security clearance.
