Our client is a global battery energy storage manufacturer expanding its footprint across Western Australia. They're looking for a Regional Business Development Manager to own the WA territory, with a strong focus on utility-scale BESS opportunities tied to the mining sector.

The Role

You'll be the face of the business across WA, building relationships with mining companies, EPCs, and developers to drive utility-scale BESS opportunities from first contact through to signed contract. This is a territory-owning role for someone who wants autonomy, a transparent commercial mandate, and direct influence over how the business grows in one of the country's most active energy markets.

What you'll be doing

- Identifying and developing utility-scale BESS opportunities with mining clients across WA
- Building and managing relationships with mine operators, EPCs, and energy developers
- Running the sales cycle from lead generation through to contract close
- Working closely with engineering and project teams to scope client requirements
- Representing the business at industry events, site visits,



and client meetings across the state
- Reporting on pipeline, forecasting, and market intelligence back to the broader BD team

What You'll Bring

- Proven business development or sales experience in BESS, solar, power generation, or a related energy/infrastructure sector
- Existing relationships within WA mining, EPC, or utility-scale energy circles are highly valued
- Confidence managing complex, long-cycle B2B sales with technical stakeholders
- Willingness to travel across WA, including regional and remote sites
- Based in Perth or willing to relocate
