The Role
We are seeking a Senior Coordinator – Resource Planning to join our team Monday to Friday based in Perth. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced planning qualified to coordinate workforce planning and mobilisation across multiple shutdowns, maintenance and project scopes, working closely with operational teams to support successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end workforce planning and mobilisation activities across multiple shutdown, maintenance and project scopes.
- Partner with Project Managers and operational teams to understand workforce requirements and develop practical resource plans.
- Identify potential resourcing, compliance or scheduling risks and escalate recommendations to the Lead Resource Planner.
- Manage workforce scheduling, roster changes and mobilisation requirements to meet project and client deadlines.
- Ensure all personnel meet site access, training and compliance requirements prior to mobilisation.
- Liaise with Recruitment to support timely fulfilment of workforce requirements.
- Coordinate travel, accommodation and logistics in line with company policies and project requirements.
- Maintain accurate workforce planning data, mobilisation records and reporting across planning systems and client portals.
- Prepare and distribute labour lists and workforce updates within required timeframes.
- Build strong working relationships with clients, Project Managers, Recruitment and operational stakeholders to ensure successful workforce delivery.
- Provide day-to-day support and guidance to Resource Planners, sharing knowledge and promoting consistent planning practices.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to improve planning processes and efficiencies.
About You
- 4+ years' experience in workforce planning, mobilisation or resource coordination within the mining, construction or resources sector.
- Proven experience coordinating multiple projects, shutdowns or maintenance scopes simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of mobilisation, compliance and site access requirements.
- Confident using workforce planning systems and Microsoft Office; experience with ERMS, INX, SuccessFactors, SAP, OPMS or IFS is highly regarded.
- Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to identify planning risks, solve problems and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
