An exciting opportunity is available for a motivated Accounts Payable Officer to join a well-established, national construction business. Based on the northern Gold Coast, this role offers exposure in a high volume and challenging environment, within a collaborative and supportive team.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Accounts Payable Team Lead, you will play a key role in supporting the accounts payable team. This is a hands-on position offering variety, responsibility, and the opportunity to further develop your finance career within a stable and growing business.
Key Responsibilities
Process contractor invoices and reconcile timesheets, ensuring accuracy and alignment with approved recordsFollow up with labour hire providers to resolve discrepancies or missing documentationManage company credit card administration, including coding, reconciliation, and compliance monitoringPerform regular supplier statement reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies in a timely mannerSupport the accounts payable function through three-way invoice matching (PO, goods receipt, invoice)Provide general accounts and administrative support,



including assistance with reporting and month-end activitiesCollaborate with internal stakeholders to maintain accurate financial records and productive processes What you'll need to succeed
You are a detail-oriented and proactive finance professional looking to build on your accounts experience in a fast-paced environment.
Previous experience in accounts payable or a similar finance support roleStrong attention to detail and accuracyGood organisational and time management skillsConfident communicator with the ability to liaise across teams and external stakeholdersA team-focused approach with a willingness to learn and grow What you'll get in return
