This is a full time position in the administration team. As a successful candidate, you will work as a Medical Contact Centre Representative – working from our head office in Nedlands.
You will have pride in being the first point of contact for patients and referrers of CVS and CRS. Your professional, helpful and caring approach will support our commitment to an excellent patient experience. You will be a highly driven, motivated customer service professional who will be able to work independently but always within a larger team. Your flexibility and willingness to help out and to do what is required to be done will contribute to your success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answering all incoming phone calls from patients and referrers.
- Book patient testing and consultation appointments.
- Receive and process emails and faxes from patients and medical practitioners.
- Manage incoming results and referrer requests (via phone and email) and triage accordingly.
- Process patient medical accounts including Medicare claims.
- Book hospital procedural appointments for consultants when needed.
- Take ownership of all CVS and CRS outpatient and inpatient testing clinics, optimising bookings to maximise staff and clinic utilisation.
- Manage incoming call queues, minimising patient on-hold time and call abandonment.
