The OpportunityOCRT is seeking Project Managers to lead the delivery of complex, mission-critical projects for a critical Defence ICT program. You'll provide leadership across a multi-disciplined project team, driving schedule, risk, budget and resource outcomes while shaping strategic planning and governance. This is a senior delivery role for someone who can operate confidently at the intersection of project management, stakeholder engagement and Defence governance frameworks.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide leadership and management of a multi-disciplined project team, coordinating activities including strategic planning, governance and human resource managementManage schedule, risk, budget and resources, and prepare briefings, submissions and reports on project progressApply established project management methodologies, procedures and practicesIdentify risks and opportunities, factoring these into planning, decision-making and priority settingBuild and sustain stakeholder engagement,
communicating with influence and negotiating effectivelyAnalyse project performance against agreed plans and develop strategies to achieve outcomesPrepare correspondence, briefs and reports for higher delegate and committee considerationEnsure compliance with legislative, policy and regulatory frameworks
What We're Looking ForDemonstrated experience taking full responsibility for the definition, approach and delivery of medium-scale projects, with robust leadership of project teamsExperience monitoring and maintaining financial records for compliance, audit and budgeting purposesDemonstrated ability to define, scope and manage requirements for initiatives of medium size and complexityStrong stakeholder relationship management experience, including acting as a single point of contact and facilitating business decision-making
